WOMANHOOD

A song cycle with seven songs for a coloratura soprano and piano, one prelude and six interludes for household objects. Texts from Google search results, text pictures found on the internet, a FaceBook survey, interviews and George Roy Hill's directed musical movie Thoroughly Modern Millie. Commissioned by festival SKAŅU MEŽS, choreography by Agate Bankava. Premiered in festival SKAŅU MEŽS in september 2022 by Gunta Gelgote and Lelde Tīrele.
